UBC-Envision Group believes that a well-planned and executed publications program serves as the bedrock of the pre- and postlaunch communications program in its own right, and provides the key source material for subsequent derivative medical communications that extend the reach and exposure of the relevant clinical data.
When implementing data-driven communications programs, our Scientific Solutions and Client Solutions team members—who are well versed in the product and data as a result of working on the publications program—work in collaboration with our Creative Solutions team and with either our client's logistics group or with one of our trusted logistics partners to deliver a seamless project.
When developing a tactical communications plan, UBC-Envision Group takes into consideration key issues relating to:
— The commercialization stage of the product
— The marketplace in which the product is/will be competing
— Medical need and physician awareness
— Existing relationships with key opinion leaders (at a company level)
— Target audiences
— Drug reimbursement issues.
The resulting communications program will consist of an appropriate selection of activities based on data/publication availability and approval status. UBC-Envision Group works with the appropriate client team members to ensure the program components interlink with the publications plan and other ongoing or planned initiatives at a company-wide, affiliate, or local level.
